The Andes And Incas - Peru Explored

My most recent trip (November 2015) and my first to South America. For scenic splendour and amazing bio-diversity Peru is hard to beat. A long dry desert-like coastal plain rises up to the snow-covered peaks of the Andes, whilst further east the vastness of the Amazonian rain forest stretches to the horizon.

The talk covers my extensive tour of all three regions – the island bird life off the coast, Colca Canyon, the floating reed communities of Lake Titicaca and of course the amazing ruins at Machu Picchu. Plus a ‘spot of bother’ with striking miners...
